The Google Analytics add-on allows you to track traffic and activity on your store and display that information in the Store Builder Dashboard.
Entering the Google Analytics
To see Google Analytics data in the Command Console, see Setting Up the Store Builder Dashboard to learn how to get the Dashboard set up for your store.
Note: The ability to edit this setting depends on the template used by your store (you can see the name of the template your store uses at the top of the page in parentheses). If you want to edit this setting but you are unable to, contact your Store Operations team so they can make the edits for you.
Some of the settings you enter for Google Analytics area (like Domain) will also change the same settings within your Google Analytics account. If you are unsure what to enter or want more information about the settings you define, we recommend reading the Google Analytics Help file.
Add-on Status:
- Select Enabled if you want to use your Google Analytics account to monitor traffic and other usage on your site. Select Disabled if you do not want to use Google Analytics.
Account ID:
- Enter your Google Analytics account ID. When viewing your Google Analytics account, your account ID usually appears near or next to the domain you are tracking.
Domain:
- Select None if there no domain associated with the Google Analytics account. Select Auto to automatically detect the domain. Select Custom to enter your domain.
Profile ID:
- Enter your Google Analytics profile ID. Your profile ID can be found from within your Profile Settings in Google Analytics.
