How to log the shopper's request to remove personally identifiable information (PII)

The Request Removal of Personal Information feature allows a CSR to log a customer's request to remove personally identifiable information (PII) from the system. PII is any information that you could use to uniquely identify, contact, or locate a single person.

This feature does not delete any PII from the system. It does not alter the state of a subscription. The shopper must send the request to remove their personal information to privacy@digitalriver.com. Their request must include the order ID and some personal information to verify their identity.
