Reverting Changes to Rules

When you make changes to a rule, the changes are saved but the new rule is not executed against the marketStream Common Catalog until you deploy the changes you have made. If you do not want to keep the changes you have made you can revert your changes and get the last deployed version of your rules.

Warning: When you revert changes to rules, any updates you have made to your rules since they were last deployed are thrown away. This includes any changes to the rule definitions or to the order of rules. If you created a new rule it is removed; if you deleted a rule it is re-added. Once you deploy, the rules are saved and cannot be reverted.

To revert changes to rules:

Required Role: Catalog ManagerA user role that allows the user access to the catalog and product features. Search this file for the "user role definitions" topic for more information.
  1. On the Catalog menu, select marketStream Channel, and click Manage Rules. The Customize Rules page appears.
  2. Click Revert Changes in the taskbar. The rules are reverted to what they were when they were last deployed. When you revert changes to rules, any changes made to your rules (including additions and deletions) since you last deployed the rule are thrown away and cannot be recovered.
