An individual product is a product that is not sold in different versions or variations on your store. Individual products are usually a single item but they can also be many items sold as a single product (such as a collection or box set).
Individual products are very common but there are times when a multiple product with variations make more sense for the store, product line, or business. For example, if one of your products comes in different colors or sizes or versions, it would be easier and less time consuming to maintain one multiple product with variations than it would be to maintain a handful of individual products that are nearly the same.
