Clearing Your Personalized Settings
There are several aspects of the Command Console that are unique to you and your user profile. If needed, you can clear your personalized settings and have certain things revert back to the default. We strongly recommend you only clear your personalized settings when you are positive you want all your settings to revert back to their default.
The following summarizes what settings reset when you clear your personalized settings:
- Recent Items – Recent Items appear in two places: the menu and the Home page. When you clear your personalized settings, both areas are reset and all previous recent items will disappear.
- Bookmarks – You can bookmark pages that you use most often for quick access from the Home page and toolbar. When you clear your personalized settings, all bookmarks you have added will be removed.
- Home Page Pod Layout and Order – You can customize the order of the pods on the Home page, as well as hide those you use less often. When you clear your personalized settings, the customization you have done to the Home page will be reset so all the pods will appear open and in their default location on the page.
- Search and Filters Settings – The Search and Filters pane appears on those list pages that show items you have created, such as offers or products and will appear open or closed based on the state they were left in when last used. When you clear your personalized settings, all Search and Filters panes on list pages will appear open by default.
- Locale and Product Settings – When you are viewing and editing an existing product, the locale and Product Settings you have chosen to view will appear by default when you first view the product. When you clear your personalized settings, those defaults will be cleared.
- Quick Search Settings – The Quick Search feature is available from the toolbar in the upper right area of each page and used to quickly search for products, offers, users, orders. When you use Quick Search, the options for what and how to search are set based on what was last selected for a search. When you clear your personalized settings, these selections are reset so that you have to choose these options again.
To clear your personalized settings:
