About Configuring Site Settings

There are many site settings that control which features appear on your store and how your store behaves or operates. Depending on your user roles and the template your store uses, you can view or change the settings.

Why can't I see all the site settings?

Here are some possible reasons: 

Why can I view a site setting but not change it?  

Some site settings can only be changed by Digital River internal users because changing those settings could greatly affect your store. If you need assistance changing a setting, contact your Store Operations team.

Are changes I make to site settings applied to my store immediately?  

Yes, most changes to your site settings take effect immediately. An exception are the General: Help Pages settings, which can take up to two hours.

Opening the Site Settings Page

To open the Configure Site Settings page, on the Administration menu, select Site, and click Configure Site Settings. The Configure Site Settings page appears.

Determining the Template Used by the Site

When you view the Configure Site Settings page, you can see the template used by the currently selected site. The template name appears in parentheses, as shown in the example below:
