There are many different roles that can be assigned to users in the Command Console. Roles control what menus a user can see, as well as what commands they can see and click on each menu. Roles also dictate what a user can do when using a feature as well as how much they can change or what they can affect.
For more about how user roles work, see About User Roles. To learn how to assign user roles, see Creating and Editing Users.

1CSR and CSS roles have similar privileges and system access, however the CSS role has higher rights to perform certain actions. For example, a CSS can refund the total amount for an order, while a CSR cannot. When assigning roles to users, only one of the Customer Service roles need to be assigned. 2The Reporting Manager role can be set at both the company and site level. When set at the company level, the user will have access to reports for all sites owned by the company. When set at the site level, the user will only have access to reports for that site. * Viewing the history for an object usually requires you to be an internal (Digital River) user. ** These features are not used by all clients or may be older features that are no longer needed or supported. |
