A product is something that you sell on your store. It can be anything from a physical object like a digital camera, to a service such as a subscription to antivirus software or access to an online forum or Web site.

Individual vs. Multiple Products
There are two main things that determine how a product appears on your store and how it is fulfilled (delivered) to shoppers: the type of template (individual or multiple) used to create the product and the settings used to define the product. Product Settings
There are many different settings that you can use to define your product. Settings not only define what type of product it is (software, subscription, and so on) but also how it is fulfilled (download, physical). For information about the settings that define a product, see Product Options.
