When you create a product you choose which product options you want to apply or enable for the product. Some options will define the type of product (for example, a software product or a physical product) while other options will control where or when the product can be sold, how the product is priced and fulfilled, and so on.
Note: The fields, options, attributes, and settings you see when you create a product can be configured using the Product Template. This means that some settings may not appear when you are working with your products (if your company/site has set the Product Template to hide them in the interface). Adding or enabling a product option varies depending on whether you are creating the product or editing an existing one.
Once you add or enable an option for a product, you must define the attributes for that option for the setup to be complete. The following list outlines all the possible options you can set for a product. Keep in mind that some of the product options described in this file may not be available on your site, and that custom options created for your company will not be described in this Help file.
